What to Expect at Adventure City
Adventure City is a family amusement park at 1238 South Beach Blvd, Anaheim, California 92804. Its attractions range from rides to a petting farm, a rock-climbing tower, Thomas the Tank Engine Creative Play, an arcade, live performance shows and the Fog Factory. The park’s centerpiece is a vintage 1946 carousel with 20 horses.
Admission covers unlimited use of rides, shows and attractions, with two exceptions: the climbing wall and arcade require a separate fee or an arcade Fun Card. That distinction can help you plan what to include in your day, especially if climbing or arcade games are priorities.
Hours and Tickets
Adventure City publishes its operating hours on a date-by-date calendar rather than a single regular schedule. Check the calendar for the date you have in mind before setting your plans.
Tickets cost $32.95 for guests ages 1 and up; infants 12 months and younger do not need an admission ticket. The last same-day ticket is sold one hour before closing, subject to availability.
Operating hours may change, and rides or attractions may close. The park says these conditions do not qualify for compensation or a refund. You can get a hand stamp for same-day re-entry, which is useful if you plan to leave the gates and return.

Rides and Attractions for Different Ages
Height and age rules vary by ride, so check them against the children in your group before choosing where to start. The carousel and Adventure City Express Train have no minimum height requirement.
Crank ’n’ Roll is limited to riders 52 inches or shorter, while the Balloon Race requires riders to be at least 2 years old. Riders under 48 inches on the Balloon Race need a responsible companion.
For bigger rides, the Freeway Coaster allows riders from 36 inches when accompanied by a responsible companion, or from 42 inches to ride alone.
Rewind Racers requires riders to be 39 inches with an adult or 48 inches to ride alone. The Drop Zone is a 45-foot tower; its minimum height is 38 inches with a responsible companion or 42 inches to ride alone.
Mount Adventurous is a 24-foot rock-climbing tower with three sides. The climbing wall has a separate fee, unlike the rides and shows included with admission. The park also has the Fog Factory, an arcade and live performance shows, alongside its animal and play attractions.
Getting There from Buena Park
Adventure City is about a 5-minute drive from Buena Park Inn. The park lists free parking, with the parking area a short distance from the main entrance. Planning a Family Day in the Area
Adventure City allows bottled water, baby formula or food, and food for guests with special dietary needs; other outside food and drinks are not allowed, and coolers cannot be brought inside. Shaded picnic tables sit outside the main gates. With a hand stamp, you can re-enter the park the same day.
Single- and double-seat strollers are available to rent just inside the entrance. The park says its strollers are not intended for infants and cannot be taken outside the park.
A limited number of non-motorized wheelchairs are available for daily rental on a first-come, first-served basis; you may bring your own motorized or non-motorized wheelchair. All-day lockers are available for $5 at the stroller-rental location.
Children must be accompanied by an adult to enter, and all guests must wear shirts and shoes. Adventure City is non-smoking; smoking is permitted outside the main gate. Animals are not allowed in the park except for trained service dogs, and animals, including service animals, are not permitted on rides.
